Beach Series
I have been working on a Beach Series and you have already seen a lot of the photos involved. I just listed this one in my shop and if you would like to see the rest of the series, please visit My Shop.
I always get inspired by the beach and it always evokes relaxation, serenity, and peacefulness for me. How about you? How does the beach affect you?

Ooooo the beach... it beckons me! Our family vacations there in late summer every year so I will be out in your neck of the woods soon!
ReplyDeleteIt affects me much like you describe... relaxing and refreshing... tactile... tranquil.
Beautiful photo!
Thanks, Jaime. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely, Carole - you really capture the 'feel' of the beach in your photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy. :)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I can feel the sun on my skin and the warm sand in my toes. How I miss the beach, haven't been to once since I was about 2 or 14, been a while. And even that was man made. One day I want to visit the ocean or a real beach. Beautiful beach series!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam. :)
ReplyDeleteJust love the color of the umbrella! It screams Tropics to me :D
ReplyDeleteBeach here in Oregon is quite a bit different from beach in Florida or the Bahamas. Here any day on the beach is a good one...which takes care of all those cold, windy, stormy, rainy days. There are logs that will wash up on the beach (ponderosa pine) and jelly fish (clear with yellow glob)
and tide pools full of anemones and sea stars all over the rocks crusted with mussels. Monoliths all up and down the shore but the beach is public.
Swimmers wear wet suits a lot, too. Kinda like swimming in Maine. When there are seals in the water, it's too cold 4 me!
Sounds like an interesting change.
