Liberty of the Seas Cruise!

We went on a scrapbooking cruise put on by Michael's.  It was great fun.  We crafted all day on the days we were at sea.  However, I missed the open time as I took three excursions on each day we were in port.

But we brought home tons of product including a roller bag.  We also met some great people.  Two girls were from Washington DC area and two were from Wisconsin.  They were great fun and we shared a lot of great ideas.

1. This is part of the ship sitting in Miami.  It was huge.  We were in a balcony room which was wonderful.  First time for me to have a balcony and it just makes all of the difference in the world.
2.   A view from one of the dining areas as we pulled out of Miami.
This is looking down on the grand Promenade.  This ship was huge.
One of the elevators facing to the center of the ship.

This was taken from my balcony looking toward the front of the ship.  Our cabin was right in the center of the ship so this might help you to imagine how large it is.  We were on deck 7 and there were 14 decks.

Stay tuned for more installments.

  5. Thanks, Pam. There is nothing more fun than a cruise. It is a virtual floating city and if you never left the ship you could still be happy.

Juana, how nice to see you. Yes, I have kind of done a disappearing act from my blog. I am back and hope to do better. Have you been on a cruise before?

Kathy, thanks so much. It is one of the cheapest ways to travel. But I must admit that this ship is fabublous....I would never want to go back to another line. Royal Caribbean is it for me.

Marlene, wouldn't it be great if all of us could schedule a cruise together....just an all girls fun thing.
