Thoughts of Don Quixote....

Continuing on my theme of books and romance, windmills always make me think of Don Quixote. He was a man who was obsessed with the romance novels of his time and because of it kind of lost his mind. So, he set out as a knight errant to do good deeds.......fighting windmills and such. :)

Welcome to my windmills of California. One is listed now in my shop but if you are interested in any just let me know. :)

  2. Those are great Windmills Carole, I would not have thought they were in California, or America for that matter, they look as if they should be in Holland.

  6. I did not know there were so many windmills in CA! I immediately had to think of Holland, where I saw many, many, many windmills. They still look quite romantic to me... :) Silke

  9. These windmill photos are beautiful. I especially like the first one ~ the shadows and the colors make it a WOW! The pink flowers at the base of the second one make it a striking photograph. VERY nice.
