Thoughts of Don Quixote....

Continuing on my theme of books and romance, windmills always make me think of Don Quixote. He was a man who was obsessed with the romance novels of his time and because of it kind of lost his mind. So, he set out as a knight errant to do good deeds.......fighting windmills and such. :)

Welcome to my windmills of California. One is listed now in my shop but if you are interested in any just let me know. :)

  1. Who knew there were so many windmills in California?

Love what you did with the first one!

  2. Those are great Windmills Carole, I would not have thought they were in California, or America for that matter, they look as if they should be in Holland.

  3. Thanks so much Liz...:)

    That is for sure, Marlene...LOL

  4. These are super cool. Love that first one!

  5. Great photos, Carole! Is one of those in Golden Gate Park? It is fun getting to know you better!

  6. I did not know there were so many windmills in CA! I immediately had to think of Holland, where I saw many, many, many windmills. They still look quite romantic to me... :) Silke

  7. Thanks, Pam

    Thanks, Hey Harriet

    Thanks so much Allie. :)

    Thanks, Silke. :)

  8. Allie, yes that one was in Golden Gate Park. :)

  9. These windmill photos are beautiful. I especially like the first one ~ the shadows and the colors make it a WOW! The pink flowers at the base of the second one make it a striking photograph. VERY nice.
