Thank you for Nominating me for the Life is Good Reward!

Marlene (Lazyhawk) of Marlene's Musings nominated me for this award.  I had to answer six of her questions and then nominate 6 others  to answer the six questions that I make up.

You can copy the image to your blog.

Here are my answers to Marlene's questions:

Here I go:

1. What is the one thing you have never done that you still want to do?

Well, this may surprise you but it is to see two old friends in particular. One was my boyfriend when I was 16 and 17 years old. Secondly, a girlfriend from the same age period. I know where one is but not the other.

2. What is your favorite way to relax?

My favorite way to relax is to travel.....even if it only to a local beach, for instance. But getting away is the key to me relaxing. But if I am not traveling and I am stuck at home then I would say it is to get together with some girlfriends and got out to lunch and then go shopping.

3. If you could have anything you wanted to eat with no negative effects like calories etc. what would you choose?

I would choose bread. In particular, I would choose French bread with a chocolate bar in the middle. It is wonderful!

4. Would you rather paint, draw, sew, quilt, write, take pictures?

Two of these choices would top my list. I am a published poet so I love to write and I would love to publish a novel someday. I love to take pictures is my second choice.

5. You are in the largest Boutique in the world and can pick one item free, what would you take home with you?

It would probably be a piece of jewelry, a pair of shoes, or a purse.

6. What is your dream vacation?

I would love to take a trip around the world with a man who loved to travel and who loved me with all of his heart and who would make the vacation one I would remember forever. But since that is never going to happen....LOL....I would travel with a friend to Australia and spend at least three months there.

My nominees are: (if you have already been nominated then just answer the questions for me....cause I am curious....:)  You can answer here on my blog and then copy and paste your answers to your blog if you choose to accept the award.

  4. hi Carole! thanks for sharing stuff about you we don't know, and thanks too for nominating me...so I will answer these questions for you...

    1) favorite fantasy? I would say, being retired, living somewhere by the beach, and having limitless money, so that I can be an artist.

    2) I believe I had a ghost in the house I bought. While getting ready for work in the morning, my radio in the kitchen suddenly was cranked up to the highest volume. It happened a couple more times after that, so that when I'd come home from work, the hairs on my arm would stand upright as I walked up the stairs. I eventually brought in a 'ghostbuster', and she got rid of it. I may have to blog about it one day, lol!

    3) If I was writing a book, I'd want something inspirational, probably on how to make each moment count in your life (although I don't practice what I preach, hahah!)

    4) Would I live my life differently if I could? heck yes! I regret wasted years, and living how other people thought I 'should' live.

    5) Number 1 on my bucket list: I've always wanted to go to California, and see New York, so I would say travelling.

    6) If I could meet one person, it would be Jesus, and I would like to ask about 'life'.

    thanks Carole, that was fun!

  6. Wow - great answers, Carole =)

Really enjoyed reading everyone's answers to your questions, too!

    Okay - here I go =)

    1. What is your favorite fantasy?
If I see a wardrobe - I am all about going to Narnia!

    2. Have you ever experienced anything in the supernatural realm....deja vu, premonitions, ghosts, or feel you experienced some kind of miracle....religious, spiritual, healthwise, etc.
Yes - several times! One time the Lord granted me health when the doctors sent me home to die.

    3. If you were going to write a book, what would you write about?
Actually, my daughter and I are working on a children's book based on the Parable of the Sower. I am also thinking about writing some children's devotions.

    4. Would you choose to live your life differently if you had the option of starting all over again? Or would you just stick with the life you have.
Can I still have my daughter just the way she is? If not, then I am keeping everything the same because she is worth it.

    5. What is your number one item on your bucket list?
Um... bucket list... I don't think I have a bucket list... I just keep doing stuff =p

    6. If you could meet someone, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you ask them?
Jesus - the Living Lord - but I am not sure what I would ask Him. I think I just want a hug.
Like for maybe a few million years...

  10. MagMoment's Answers:

    1. What is your favorite fantasy? My favorite fantasy is having a solo art show, which has just happened at the Roswell Tea House. In February my fantasy will be winning first place at the SE Flower Show with a flower photograph.

    2. Have you ever experienced anything in the supernatural realm....deja vu, premonitions, ghosts, or feel you experienced some kind of miracle....religious, spiritual, healthwise, etc. Yes, there was a day when I especially was worried about my then 6 year old for mom reasons, and I prayed that the children would not go out for recess. I was really surprised when it started raining heavily around recess time, and they did not go outside.

    3. If you were going to write a book, what would you write about? We have recently thought of a wonderful story about my youngest, who persuades a kidnapper to let him watch the end of a TV show, and ultimately stalls and foils the kidnapper. I would write this children's story.

    4. Would you choose to live your life differently if you had the option of starting all over again? Or would you just stick with the life you have. I am so happy. I would do it all again even the bad because I learned a lot from all of that!

    5. What is your number one item on your bucket list? I would like to get remarried.

    6. If you could meet someone, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you ask them? I would love to ask Barbra Streisand to sing a song. Perhaps Just a little lovin' or Papa Can You Hear Me?

  13. ok I finally got my answers up on my blog...
    http://alwaysartistic.blogspot.com/2010/06/life-is-good-award.html

    1. What is your favorite fantasy? I would have to say taking a trip around the world visiting every light house I could find.

    2. Have you ever experienced anything in the supernatural realm....deja vu, premonitions, ghosts, or feel you experienced some kind of miracle....religious, spiritual, health wise, etc. No but I did love the show Ghost Whisperer, I have a semi open mind to that stuff.

    3. If you were going to write a book, what would you write about? Hmmm I think it would be either Poetry or a book for children.

    4. Would you choose to live your life differently if you had the option of starting all over again? Or would you just stick with the life you have. Well there are things I would do a bit differently maybe but then you wouldn't be the person you are today, so I am happy with what I have!

    5. What is your number one item on your bucket list? To take a trip one day, whether it be in the same province or somewhere else in the world! A few places I would love to see are Alaska, Australia, and many places in Canada and the USA!

    6. If you could meet someone, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you ask them? Hmmm that is a hard question, I would love to meet many of my extended family of online friends, and also a few celebrities who seem like normal down to earth regular people... Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Reba... LOL
