San Antonio..a beautiful place to visit!

I just got back from my 45th reunion which was held in San Antonio.  But, I would like to concentrate on the city.  The River Walk was far beyond what I expected.  It was quite lovely.  All of the restaurants are European style with outside places to eat often embellished with colorful umbrellas.  The walk itself is a meandering walk that goes up and down.  Bridges are in place to allow you to cross to the other side.  The walk is tropical and lush.  I also visited some of the missions while I was there.  They are wonderful.  Did you know the Alamo was one of the five missions?  Well, I will be posting some photos later but I wanted to tell you that if you have not been, it is a great place to go.:)
