readingsully2: Art means so many different things to probably as many different people. One thing I discovered is how subjective art is. I wanted to give you a little bit about my background. I was raised as a military brat. I have done a lot of traveling. I still love to travel. I guess it is in my blood. When one thinks about it, what makes us purchase a piece of art. It has to do with our five senses. When the art is right, it grabs us. But, do we know why it appeals so much? Probably not, it is something that comes from somewhere deep inside of us because we are the sum total of all our experiences. We don't analyze it. We just buy it because it speaks to us. Well, I can only hope that my art speaks to you as well. I create not just to please myself but to make someone happy when they look at my art. I am married and have a lovely daughter and one very beautiful grand-daughter. She is almost five years old.
