Merry Christmas Everyone and Happy New Year and Resolutions.

I wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I have been working hard to lose some weight since early September.  I drug out my Weight Watcher Books from years ago and started doing it on my own.

I was taking Line Dancing, which I dropped and Tai Chi, which I dropped but may go back to after the Holidays.  I am still taking Yoga.  I absolutely love it.  I don't think  I have ever taken another exercise class that I love so much and where I can immediately feel the benefits.

So I have no resolutions this year exept to continue on this path until I reach my goal.  What are your resolutions, if any?

I wanted to share this photo taken two pounds ago I am down 19.5 lobs.....LOL....here are three generations of ladies....me, my granddaughter (5) and my daughter.  It was taken on her 39th BD.

  4. Carole that is a great picture and I agree you are all gorgeous. Congrats on the weight loss, not an easy task. No resolutions, I don't make them because I have trouble keeping them and then feel bad.

  5. Thanks, Marlene....I did not make them either...that is why I started in September so if I failed I would not feel so bad....LOL. :)

  6. that is a wonderful photo of 3 beautiful ladies!

Carole I love yoga too, and when I was doing it regularly, a few years ago, I had such a perfect toned body, and I felt great all the time. Don't know why I became inconsistent, but I hope to start again. If you can do the tai chi, I would recommend it too, it does amazing things for both stress release, as well as moving the energy through your body, and keeping your body more fluid. Yoga and Tai chi would be fantastic for your health.
I think my resolution is to start walking more regularly, and start up my yoga again. Ever since I started painting regularly, exercise has taken a back seat.

Have a Merry Christmas, and a Blessed New Year!!
