This one is for you, Pam (alwaysartistic)

This is my husband.

This is the two of us having a ball with these birds.  We called these the 'sucker bird pitch'.  We were walking down the streets of Honolulu at night and this guy approached us and asked us if we wanted to hold the birds.  Who would say "NO?"  So, quite innocently we did.  Next thing we know he is clicking photos and asked us for money.  We gave him some but not what he asked for.  :)

  1. What cute birds, and yes who could resist. I have pictures of my husband in Mexico with Macaws and My daughter with an iguana and I got to hold the baby donkey. Maybe I will share the pictures on my blog someday.

  8. Carole - They are beautiful birds, I would love to hold them! The red one is a scarlet Macaw and the green one is a male Electus! The biggest bird I have held is an umbrella cockatoo, some day I will try a Macaw!

  9. Oh, they were a ball to hold, Pam. I loved every minute of it. I think that one reason I am so fond of your Jessie. They are just full of personality. :)
