Have You Ever Gotten Bored?

Have you ever gotten bored doing the same thing over and over again. That is what happened to me. Basically, I was just doing ACEOs. To change it up a bit I started doing ACEOs on real stretched canvases. I wanted to add another element of texture. They are adorable too. Of course, they are for display because you can't slip into a book. However, you could store them in a box like the one I made for Aceos. It would hold four or five of the miniature aceo canvases.

Well I have always been fascinated with miniatures. I started collecting miniature doll house items years ago and I have filled two antique print drawers with them. I guess I just have a fascination with tiny things.

So then I tried painting the SFA (Small format art) on canvas. These measure approximately 2.75 by 2.75 inches and they come with their own wooden easel. These are actually paintings and collages combined.
